Today's the Broadway Chance concert in Santa Ana, California. If any of you ate able to go, we'd love to hear about it.

A host of Broadway favorites will take part in a Sept. 27 concert to benefit The Chance Theatre, the Orange County ensemble-based theatre company.

Entitled Broadway Chance Style: Up Close & Personal, the theatre's 10th anniversary benefit concert will be presented at Santa Ana's OC Pavilion.

Laura Bell will be a special guest at a concert at Carnegie Hall on November 2nd entitled A Love Letter To New York.

Clint Holmes will headline a New York Pops concert at Carnegie Hall on November 7 with "special guests" Ashley Brown, Laura Bell Bundy and Linda Hart. Titled "A Love Letter to New York," the evening will feature classic songs about New York City and the world premiere of original songs by composer Kenneth Laub. The program also includes songs by Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter. Bundy, Hart and Holmes will make their Carnegie Hall debuts. The New York Pops is led by conductor/pianist Vincent Falcone and veteran Broadway conductor Eric Stern.

The New York Times has a short article on why Legally Blonde is closing next month.

I know I said I wouldn't be able to add pictures until this weekend, but I found a few minutes today to upload these. Laura went to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held earlier this month so I've added pictures from that event. I also added a new promotional still of Laura in Jumanji.

Even though Laura isn't with the show anymore, I thought I'd post this since it was such a huge part of Laura's life. Legally Blonde will be performing its final performance on Broadway on October 19th. Click here to read the article.

Laura will be taking part in 2008-2009 season at Carnegie Hall. She'll be taking part in a concert called New York Songs: A Love Letter to the City on November 7th.

New York Songs: A Love Letter to the City is the title of the Nov. 7 concert, which will feature classic songs about New York City as well as the world premiere of original Manhattan-themed songs penned by Kenneth Laub. Performers for the 8 PM concert will include Clint Holmes, Mary Poppins' Ashley Brown, Legally Blonde's Laura Bell Bundy and Hairspray's Linda Hart. Vinnie Falcone and Eric Stern will conduct; expect songs by Stephen Sondheim, Jule Styne and Cole Porter.

There are two articles online about the Take It From the Top workshops that Laura and Paul Canaan recently did in Lexington and in June while still doing Legally Blonde. The article that talks about the Lexington workshop also mentions that additional workshops are being scheduled in California, Michigan, and New York. There's also a video with the first article, so all you have to do is click the read more option to go to the page that the article's on and watch it.

Acting students walk around the floor of a band room at Lexington Catholic High School while an instructor gives them situations to contemplate.

”Think about something that makes you happy,“ Laura Ellington says, and the students quicken their walk. ”Think about something you really want, and you got it.“

Then she adds, ”Now imagine it's been taken away,“ and the shuffle of the feet dramatically decelerates.

Broadwayworld.com was at Laura's last performance of Legally Blonde, and there's a video with people from the cast and crew (as well as her mother) talking about how much they'll miss Laura. (Andy Karl and Natalie Joy Johnson's last day was the same day) Laura appears in it at times as well. You can watch the video by clicking here. :)
